The Bachelor’s Degree program from the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA) is a popular choice for those desiring to become a professional Christian counselor, because it equips one to become a Certified Temperament Therapist, an NCCA member, and to earn a Bachelors degree in Christian Counseling all in one course.
This Bachelor’s Degree and training program leads to the following degree, certification and pastoral licensure:
- Phase I:
- a Certified Temperament Counselor certificate
- a Clinical Member (non-clergy) or Professional Clinical Member (clergy) certificate
- Phase II:
- a Licensed Pastoral Counselor certificate
- Phase III
- a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Counseling
Course Overview, Fees, and Requirements
This program is for those who already hold a high school diploma and are experienced Christians. Most candidates complete this process in one to two years, although it has been accomplished in less time. There is a ten year time limit on the program.
The requirements for completion include completing 13 Courses. Seven of these are required and six are in your chosen area(s) of concentration. There is also a 500 question Bible exam.
