The PhD course is designed for someone who has already earned a PhD degree in Counseling, Theology, or a related field. Upon completing this 2nd PhD, they will have also earned the following certifications, licenses, and degrees:
- Phase I:
- a Certified Temperament Counselor certificate
- a Clinical Member (non-clergy) or Professional Clinical Member (clergy) certificate
- Phase II:
- a Licensed Pastoral Counselor certificate
- Phase III
- a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor – Advanced Certification
- the Appropriate Advanced Certification for selected specialty areas completed and
- a second Doctorate in Clinical Christian Counseling

The below prospectus is designed to provide you with an accurate estimate of the cost of obtaining a 2nd Doctorate in Clinical Christian Counseling. This program is for those who already hold a PhD Degree in Counseling or a related field. This program typically takes one to two years to complete, but it is self-paced and can be completed in up to to five years. No dissertation is required for the second PhD course.
